This is urgent and may be important.

In converting/creating the comic book entries for dcuwiki, please create entries for the creative personnel and book editors.

Right now, there are some 105 comic book entries, so it could still be done.

Comics are an artform. It would be a shame to leave out its artists.

Keep up the good work.

Just sent this in a private message as well, but thought everyone else might be interested in seeing the reply.

Don't worry. While the creators don't work as links to their own seperate pages at this point the way the index template is structured it will be very easy to change it so that they will link to creator pages. I just haven't set that up yet as I'd like to concentrate on moving the old stuff first before starting to add creator pages.

Depending on how much work we can make contributers interested in doing on the creator side we will at the very least we will be able to set up a link to a category page showing all the issues a certain creator has worked on.

Tenz.

I just saw this post and am very excited to see this development!

I love researching and reading character chronologies, and even without an ideal update schedule, this site remains the best source of quality DC character chronologies on the Internet. If this new development helps the site to update on a more frequent basis (and makes your lives easier), that's fantastic news.

As a side note, I've thoroughly researched the chronology of many characters and comics (mostly from the period of Identity Crisis & Infinite Crisis, and some through Final Crisis). I've posted a few of these on the boards here in the past, but as far as I can tell they've never been incorporated into the site. If the new "wiki backbone" of the site helps to make such updates easier, and I can contribute in any way, I'd love to do so. I have quite a few chronologies (along with the research and reasoning to back them up) which I haven't posted anywhere, and would love to put them up for the editors' scrutiny.

Thanks!
Ed Sudoku

Hi Ed. One of the reasons for doing this is that it will make it a lot easier to get stuff from the boards online as we will be able to to have more people working on the site without having to worry about over-writing something someone else has done because we forgot to download the latest version or something. This way things can be added and we can see that it works right away without having to go through a lot of up and downloading first.

I'm still figuring out how best to make all this work but I'm sure the discussion pages (if there's an easy way to show all pages with discussions) can be a great way of having the reasoning behind a certain chronology available as well, so that it is easy to look up. I've done some extensive chronology investigating, but while I've added my findings to the chronologies I haven't been good at keeping my notes in cases where the order might seem a bit strange to others. Most of the time it is because of thoroughly investigating lots and lots of books over several months to find smal clues, but if you forget those clues it becomes hard to reproduce and explain later on.

I hope you'll stay around and help make the Guide greater than ever.

Awesome. Its help a lot. The juking map is very useful. And its easy to read. The pictures really help to understand what are you saying. Im getting tired to see wall of text from another guide. GJ
